Young Women of Geoscience (YWOG)

Agenda

4 May 2023
12:00 - 13:00
VMA 1.13

Meet and Greet with Dr. Annisa Triyanti

In this second YWOG meet and greet session of 2023 we will meet dr. Annisa Triyanti, Assistant Professor-Disaster and Climate Risk Governance at the Copernicus Institute.

Born and bred in Indonesia, Annisa has a lot of international experience under her belt. She has conducted (extensive field) research on inclusive governance systems in communities at risk of facing water-related disasters in the coastal and delta areas. Next to an academic role she also has been a global youth advocate with years of experience in youth, civil society, and young scientist engagement as a stakeholder group representative on the intergovernmental level.

She has kindly agreed to share her view on how she has governed her academic career thus far and how she managed to stay afloat in different international contexts.

The purpose of this event is to meet fellow Young Women in Geoscience in a comfortable and safe setting to exchange experiences and inspiration for you own career. There will be Fairtrade coffee/tea and vegan banana bread.

Sign-up by email is appreciated but not required.

See you at 12:00 in VMA 1.13 on the 4th of May, bring your colleagues!

In case you are wondering if you belong to the target audience: if you interest has been peaked, you are welcome 😊
